Karl Lagerfeld Diet Coke New Bottle Design

Fashion high priest Karl Lagerfeld is hitting the bottle -- again.
Lagerfeld, who famously credited his 40 kg (90lb) weight loss to a diet of steamed vegetables and Diet Coke in 2001, has teamed up with the beverage giant for a second time to put his signature flair on a trio of limited-edition bottles.
Dressed in black and white with fuchsia touches, the bottles also feature Lagerfeld's trademark, pony-tailed, white-collared silhouette. Motifs of silver polka dots, black diamonds and bold fuchsia swirls drape the bottles and are topped off with hot pink caps. The collector's edition hits stores in 11 European countries in April.
Lagerfeld will also shoot a publicity campaign for the brand.
The designer for Chanel is such a fan of the carbonated beverage, it's rumored he keeps a Diet Coke butler. During a break from a photo shoot in New York in 2008, Lagerfeld was photographed taking a crystal goblet of Diet Coke from a suited-up man on stand-by who had been carrying the drink on a tray.
Last year, Lagerfeld used a similar color palette to launch his first Diet Coke bottle, featuring his silhouette and a fuchsia cap. He used model Coco Rocha for the campaign.
The beverage industry often turns to fashion designers for packaging makeovers. Japanese designer Issey Miyake recently redesigned Evian's water bottle, which has also been dressed by Christian Lacroix.
Meanwhile, Diet Pepsi's new taller, slimmer Skinny can, which launched during New York Fashion Week in February, drew fire from critics for promoting what they said was a negative message about body image.
"Our slim, attractive new can is the perfect complement to today's most stylish looks, and we're excited to throw its coming-out party during the biggest celebration of innovative design in the world," read the press release at the time.

Nokia VS Apple

The world's leading mobile phone maker Nokia said Tuesday it was filing a fresh complaint against Apple for patent infringement in "virtually all" of Apple's devices.
The new complaint, coupled with a simultaneous lawsuit, comes days after Nokia had a previous claim rejected.
"Nokia has filed a further complaint with the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) alleging that Apple infringes additional Nokia patents in virtually all of its mobile phones, portable music players, tablets and computers," the company said in a statement.
The Finnish mobile giant claims Apple is using Nokia innovations in "key features" of its products.
Tuesday's complaint brings the number of Nokia patents in suit against Apple to 46.
"Apple has been building its business on the back of our innovations and has failed to recognise its obligations," Nokia spokesman Mark Durrant told AFP.
Last Friday a US judge with the ITC rejected Nokia's claim that Apple had violated patents in its mobile phone, portable music players and computers.
He denied Nokia's claim that Apple had violated five patents held by the Finnish company but did not provide an explanation for his ruling.
"This is not the final ruling, and the ITC full commission has in the past overturned the initial determination," said Durrant adding that the company is reviewing the decision before deciding on its next step.
The two mobile phone titans have been embroiled in a fierce legal battle over patents with Nokia lodging at least two other lawsuits against Apple and the California gadget-maker filing countersuits against the Finnish company.
Nokia has also filed similar cases in Germany, the UK and the Netherlands.
The Finnish company's sales in the competitive high-end smartphone sector have been hurt by the rise of Apple's iPhone.

Protect your USB

1.) Open Run, and type cmd and press enter
2.) Type your USB Flash Drive Path ( e.g D: ) and press enter
3.) Type md autorun.inf and press enter.
4.) Type cd autorun.inf and press enter.
5.) Type md con\

note:
After this hide the autorun.inf folder (apply only for this folder) in your USB
so that it will be invisible. This will prevent to overwrite and delete autorun.inf in your folder. The con folder created inside autorun.inf folder is 100% harmless. It will not be deleted because this is a MS-DOS reserve word. Only flash drive formatting can delete the autorun.inf folder inside in your flash drive. That is how you can prevent your usb autorun.inf file from getting infected.

Doctors Warning: Facebook Depression

ROCKWALL, TEXAS— Facebook users are everywhere--with 22% of teenagers logging onto Facebook more than 10 times a day.

Nicolette Ramirez checks in about 7 times a day and spends at least 2 hours online keeping up with her more than 300 friends.

"Just the other night I was on it for like three hours and I didn't go to sleep until like 1:00 a.m." Nicolette said. "I have to get up at like 5:00."

Nicolette isn't depressed but she is tired--and pediatrician Rana Pascoe of Pediatric and Adolescent Specialists of Rockwall, TX said not enough sleep can lead to depression--but usually kids get upset the most when someone posts something negative about them on Facebook.

For kids with poor self esteem--it can be devastating.

"Sometimes just even their status, if they are involved with someone or not involved with someone or I'm unfriending people, you know I'm mad at you so I'm going to unfriend you so that can lead to hurt feelings," Dr. Pascoe said. "Especially for younger kids."

Nicolette even has a Facebook app on her Smarthphone--which she checked at school all the time.

She admits her grades have suffered--and so is she now that her mom made her delete the app from her phone.

"I was using it a lot," Nicolette said. "I wasn't even doing my work at all. I would just be on it the whole time."

Experts say social networking sites can give kids the false illusion that everyone is having a good time but them--online there is no way to see facial expressions or body language and that can lead to hurt feelings. Nicolette said it can even lead to a fight.

"My friend got into a fight over something that was said over Facebook because they were talking back and forth between each other and met up and fought."

Experts advise parents to keep up with new technology and their kid's social networking skills--and families also need to have an online use plan.

Dr. Pascoe does and she tells parents they should do the same.

"I encourage parents and I do it at my house," Dr. Pascoe said. "I have my kids show me their Facebook page periodically, I make like random checks, I say let's see what you've got on here."

As for Nicolette--she admits her grades and lack of sleep aren't all the fault of Facebook.

"No," Nicolette said. "Because I have the option not to use it as much."
