Boxing champ Sugar Shane Mosley, who is set to fight our very own pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao, tried to win the hearts of Pinoys by tweeting in Filipino.
On April 11, Mosley's Twitter verified account @SugarShaneM tweeted: "Pagpapadala ibig at paggalang sa mga tao ng mga Philippines."
He had posted the message in English in an earlier tweet. "Sending love and respect to the people of the Philippines," Mosley said.
Mosley is set to fight Pacquiao on May 8 (Manila time) at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas.

Mosley said he is looking forward to a clean fight with Pacquiao, who has a reputation of expressing concern for his opponent after a fight.
"I tumingin forward sa magandang malinis na laban. Ako excited," Mosley, who appeared to have used an online translator, said.
Filipino Twitter users were delighted at Mosley's effort to communicate in Tagalog, to which Mosley replied: "Fillipino tao ibinigay sa akin ng lot's of love ngayon. Salamat."
After Mosley's tweets, Pacquiao, in his staff-run Twitter account @MannyPacquiao said: "I hope Shane is having a good media day in Big Bear."
